As part of efforts to enhance service quality in Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, a special training program was recently conducted for 400 tourism drivers.
The initiative aims to improve professionalism and better prepare drivers to meet the growing number of tourist arrivals. Officials said more capacity-building programs are planned for the future.
Deputy Minister of Transport Dr. Prasanna Gunasena said the goal is to ensure every visitor receives a safe, friendly, and high-quality experience from the moment they arrive.
